Gilda Horn
She's known for her warm, true-to-life
portraits in oil, and colorful landscape work.
Her greatest artistic influences are John Singer Sargent and
Pablo Picasso, both of whom, though disparate in style, captured that special
"something" that lies in each of us. Gilda's goal is to find and
translate that uniqueness in each subject she paints.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Art from
Miami University.
Gilda teaches drawing and painting to children and adults in her Essex Studio on McMillan Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Gilda is a Signature member of the Cincinnati
Art Club.
You can find her work at Nest in Hyde Park, Frame Concepts in Montgomery, and at Essex
Studio.
Gilda's work is also on view - Upstairs in the Studio - on the second floor of the Gallery.
